In the School of Hospitality Management at Penn State, we are not only dedicated to learning how to master the “service experience” through expertly managing operations, employees, and customers, but also to delving much deeper into the far-reaching impact of food decisions, real estate strategy, services research, food innovation, café operations, and related topics of interest.

The school maintains industry-leading research and training facilities, and provides unique hands-on hospitality learning experiences that simply aren’t available anywhere else. We engage with other faculty and industry professionals who share our passion for the field while uncovering relevant findings, taking part in experiential learning opportunities, and assuming an active ownership of continued discovery through our multifaceted research program.
