The Office for Faculty Affairs and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion has a vital role in the recruitment of college faculty, promoting a comprehensive and equitable hiring process. The office ensures an inclusive hiring process by implementing effective strategies and practices that promote diversity and equity throughout the recruitment and hiring process. By supporting search committees with training and resources, the office helps to ensure a process across the college for the selection of highly qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds.

Please note, our office helps facilitate a fair and equitable recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process for potential candidates by providing resources to our various department and units, but most of these processes are managed by our HR team and the Penn State Central Office of Human Resources. Any inquiries related to hiring or the overall process of onboarding or recruitment should be directed to those offices.
