Nutrition and Immunity Lab - Studies
Studies Currently Recruiting Subjects
The Rogers Laboratory at Penn State is recruiting men and post-menopausal women and for a study evaluating the effects of probiotic consumption on inflammation and gut health. Eligible participants include those who meet the following criteria:
- Age 50-80
- BMI between 25 - 40 kg/m2
- Non-smoking
- Not currently taking cholesterol- or glucose-lowering medication
- Not currently taking anti-hypertensive medication
This study is being conducted on the Penn State’s University Park campus. Compensation for travel is available 20 miles from State College. If you are interested in learning more about the study, please call us at 814-863-3919 between 9 am-5pm or contact us by email: probioticspsu@gmail.com.
