Research

As a consortium of individuals and organizations we represent a diverse array of interests associated with outdoor experiential leadership in various forms welcome a variety of methodological approaches. We see them all as contributing to a progressive understanding of the processes and outcomes of outdoor experiential education. We all share interests in personal and social development sometimes referred to as health and well-being – in the broad sense of the term.

As a consortium, we are interested in research that is cumulative (building on previous research) and committed to maximizing the dissemination of that research and promoting its impact on practice, policy and future research.
