What should I do if I’m interested in teaching an online course through the World Campus? icon-olus-circle

Talk with your department head first, and assuming that you have his/her support, consult with the person in your department who has oversight responsibility for courses offered through the World Campus or contact Susan LeWay in the Outreach Office. Anyone who is interested in teaching a course through the World Campus is encouraged to take the online orientation training called OL2000 offered by the World Campus Faculty Development Office. If you are assigned to teach, you will be expected to complete OL2000.

I’m interested in taking students on a trip as part of my course. What do I need to know? icon-olus-circle

Safety, liability, and logistics are critical considerations when planning programs and courses that involve students traveling from campus – both internationally and domestic. For trips in the US, first talk with your department head, and then assuming that you have his/her support, contact Lisa Clapper in the Outreach Office to discuss your idea. Lisa will walk you through all you need to know to plan a course with a short-term trip.
