American Kinesiology Association

Penn State Kinesiology is a member of the American Kinesiology Association (AKA). This partnership/membership provides access to Kinesiology-specific professional development, networking, and other unique resources to enhance our research, teaching, and outreach activities. Nancy Williams, professor and head of kinesiology, served as president of the AKA in 2019, and Melissa Bopp, associate professor of kinesiology, currently serves on the AKA board of directors.
