Graduate Program Mission

The Graduate Program in Kinesiology at Penn State strives to:

1. Recruit and mentor graduate students of the highest quality who will develop into outstanding scholars and researchers, with an emphasis on the training of doctoral students;

2. Create and disseminate new knowledge in our six areas of graduate study;

3. Provide excellent instruction at the graduate level, both in formal classroom settings and outside the classroom through mentoring in research.
