Applied Exercise and Health
One-Year Post-Graduation Destinations
The Applied Exercise and Health option of the Kinesiology major is a rigorous, innovative approach to maximizing practice-based career options for its graduates.
One year after their 2024 graduation, Penn State Kinesiology Applied Exercise and Health (AEH) alumni reported where they were in their first positions (47 grads, 23 responses).
First Destination of AEH Graduates
Of the graduates who responded, the majority were employed within one year after graduation.
Places of Employment
Of those who responded, the majority were employed in the K-12 education field within one year of graduating.

Five-Year Post-Graduation Destinations
Five years after their 2020 graduation, Penn State Kinesiology alumni of the Applied Exercise and Health (AEH) option reported where they were for their first positions (32 grads, 13 responses).
Pathways of AEH Graduates
Of the graduates who responded, most attended a graduate program within one year of graduating.

Places of Employment
Of those who graduated in 2020, most entered into the K-12 Education field, but many also entered the Fitness/Wellness and Allied Health fields as well.
