The Biobehavioral Health program may be the right choice for you if you are interested in the health and medical field. There are many careers available in health where your skills and knowledge could be used.

If you are interested in pursuing a career as a health care provider, the skills and knowledge that you gain in the Biobehavioral Health major  provide a great foundation post-baccalaureate professional education,you may work as a medical doctor, a physician assistant, a nurse, a physical therapist, or an occupational therapist.

This program may be right for those interested in working in research or as a government employee with organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or a state health department. In these fields, you may help identify health concerns facing a population or conduct research on how an epidemic can be averted.

For those interested in the social aspect of health, you may work for a service organization that bring health awareness and best practices to light for others. You may also work to influence policy and public opinion on health issues.
