Gabby Knarr

3rd-year student

Hello! My name is Gabby Knarr, and I am a third-year student. I am majoring in HDFS and minoring in Psychology. My future goal is to be accepted into Penn State's MSW program and start my career as a mental health therapist. 

I like to help out the college of HDFS by volunteering for our events and I enjoyed being a TA for HDFS 229. I work as a server in State College and in my free time I like to travel, bake, read, and spend time with family. Emma Dorfman

3rd-year student

My name is Emma Dorfman, and I am a third year student majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Special Education. In the future, I hope to receive my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, and become an OT for children with special needs.

The college of HHD offers many opportunities for students to get involved, and I am currently one of the HHD Ambassadors. Outside of the department, I am one the Public Relations Graphic Designers for VALLEY Magazine, and very involved in THON. I also enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new food and coffee places in State College!
