Walk Request for Non-Graduating Seniors

Are you planning to graduate next semester but want to walk this semester? Or, graduated a previous semester within a year and want to walk this semester?

You may be eligible to participate in the upcoming Commencement Ceremony by submitting a Walk Request Form.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

For Next Semester Graduates to qualify, you must meet all the following criteria:

• You have 8 credits or fewer OR no more than 2 courses remaining. (No Exceptions!)
• You will graduate the following semester.
• You are NOT on the Graduation List for the current semester.
  • If you are, you must request removal and receive confirmation before submitting this form.
• Transfer credits not yet processed by PSU count as outstanding credits.

📅 Submission Timeline

• Submit the form during the semester you plan to walk.
• Must be submitted at least 1 month before the commencement date.
   

✅ Approval Process

• All requests are reviewed by the Associate Dean’s Office.
• You will receive an email confirmation if your request is approved.

Note: Please remember you are only participating in the commencement ceremony, you ARE NOT GRADUATING!!! You are required and responsible for setting your intent to graduate the semester that you are officially graduating. Failure to set your intent will cause you not to graduate.
