Student Information
The HHD Career Fair is open to all Penn State students and recent graduates. Please bring your student ID with you as you will need to scan your ID to enter the event. There is no pre-registration. The fair will be held in Alumni Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center.
Know where you are going
The fair is located in Alumni Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center located on the University Park campus.
Address: 129 Alumni Hall, Pollock Rd, University Park, PA 16802
Time
Doors will open at 11:00 a.m. The fair will run from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Review your resume
Take advantage of scheduling an appointment with Central Career Services via Nittany Lion Careers or walk in for a drop-in resume review appointment. Drop in hours are M-F 10am-4pm
Research the companies
Review the organizations and recruiters who have registered and familiarize yourself with the company vision and mission statements. Identify the recruiters you know you want to meet with during the fair and prioritize your time once you arrive at the fair. Be ready to explain your goals and career ambitions with the recruiters.
Plan your attire
A first impression goes a long way. Business professional or business casual is recommended, and don't forget your smile. To learn more about planning your attire for the fair check out this resource. Need an outfit? Find a suit to wear at the Professional Attire Closet.
Practice your introduction
You can tailor your introduction based on each company and information you find. Remember to practice in front of a mirror, with friends and campus career offices. You can include some of the bullet points below.

Follow up with questions you have for the company based on your research. For example, "Could you tell me more about the sales leadership development program?"
What to bring
You will need to scan your Student ID to enter the fair. Be sure to print out copies of your resume beforehand. There will not be a printer on site. Bring writing utensils to write down notes and any follow up questions you may have for the recruiter post fair. *Ask recruiters for business cards. If you plan to bring a backpack, please keep in mind you will have to keep your bag with you at all times, as there will be no bag check.
