The Health and Human Development Dean's Office will pay for lunch, coffee, or ice cream for up to five HHD students and one HHD faculty member at any one of the University's on-campus eating establishments.

Here is what you should do:

  1. Invite the professor or instructor to lunch (or coffee or ice cream)
  2. After the professor accepts, the student should complete the online form below
  3. Card must be requested at least one week in advance of lunch/coffee or ice cream
  4. On the day of the lunch, the student must visit 104 Henderson Building to sign out a charge card and group meal form
  5. After lunch (coffee or ice cream), the charge card must be returned to 104 Henderson with a copy of the itemized receipt by noon (12:00 p.m.) the following day

As one of the most popular colleges at Penn State, we know how hard it can be to get to know your professors in our majors. But, we also know our faculty are wonderful people, and would love the opportunity to get to know you.

Did you know? Engagement with faculty outside of class is one of the best predictors of student success in college.

So, take our money! Enjoy a free lunch! Share a conversation over coffee. Compare notes on your favorite Creamery cone.

Each HHD student is eligible to participate once per semester; faculty may participate as often as they are asked!
