The Evelyn R. Saubel Faculty Award honors and recognizes outstanding achievements by a faculty member of the College of Health and Human Development, who is committed to human service and to serving students.

Consideration for this award shall be given to all full-time faculty members who have been on the faculty for at least three years, who work with undergraduate students and who have exhibited some exemplary achievement.

Each award shall be made for one academic year. Further extraordinary accomplishments by a recipient may enable that recipient to be again considered for this award.

Peers, students, alumna, or alumnus may nominate candidates.

To submit a nomination, please complete the on-line nomination form and provide the following documentation:

  • One detailed letter of support, with three signatures, that indicates how the candidate meets the award criteria.
  • Updated curriculum vitae

(If a curriculum vitae is not submitted, the Dean's staff will provide documentation from Activity Insight for the nomination packet given to the selection committee.)

Recipients of this award shall be selected by a committee chosen and chaired by the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies.

Recipient will be notified early in the fall semester. A recognition gift and a monetary award will be presented to the recipient during the fall HHD Annual Awards Ceremony.
