4th-Year Student

My name is Anastasia, and I am a senior from Port Matilda, Pennsylvania. I am studying Kinesiology (movement science option) and will attend medical school after graduation. 

I have been involved in many activities on campus throughout my college career. Starting with my first year, I was an athlete on the varsity women’s gymnastics team. In my sophomore year, I began volunteering in the biomechanics research lab, joined the American Medical Student Association club, and started my journey to become a THON volunteer. THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, with a mission to support families battling childhood cancer. 

Beyond my involvement on campus, I have had numerous opportunities to connect with mentors through internships and shadowing experiences within the State College area. Outside of school, I love to exercise, travel, go to coffee shops, and recently started learning how to play the guitar.
