Simon Tracy

Hello everyone! My name is Simon Tracy, and I am currently an undergraduate student majoring in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management focusing on Commercial Recreation and Tourism Management and the Meeting and Event Management Certificate (MEMC). I am excited to show you all that this major has to offer!

On campus, and outside of class, I am a member of the Disney Club at Penn State (DCAPS) and sing and compete as a member of The Coda Conduct, one of Penn State's nine a cappella groups. Additionally, I am also a College of Health and Human Development (HHD) Ambassador and share my own experiences as a Penn State student with prospective students. After graduation, I am interested in pursuing a career in the theme park and/or themed entertainment industry, particularly at the Walt Disney Company, to be a part of making memorable experiences for others. There are so many opportunities and experiences that this major has to offer, and I can't wait to share them with all of you!

Reese Wagner

Hi, everyone! My name is Reese Wagner, and I am an undergraduate student majoring in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management (RPTM) with a focus on adventure recreation. I am also majoring in Film Production. I can’t wait to share my experiences and what makes Penn State RPTM the place for me.

Outside of classes, you can find me working at the Berkey Creamery, rock climbing at the Penn State Intramural (IM) Building, hanging out in the Ford Building (the RPTM home base), or working on productions with classmates. I am a backpacking trip leader for the AURORA Outdoor Orientation Programs and have worked as an undergraduate learning assistant for RPTM 330. After I graduate, I hope to travel and work in adventure film!

This initiative highlights our Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management major through the eyes of our ambassadors. We encourage you to follow them, comment on posts, ask questions, and even offer to provide your own experience as a student.
