As HHD faculty transition back to in-person teaching and learning, we should take some time to take what we learned about teaching and learning during the pandemic and adapt our approaches to pedagogy for future semesters.
- HHD’s instructional design team has shared some of their teaching and learning strategies in their Canvas resources for faculty.
- Refer to the Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) BlendLT Learning Path, which has a wealth of resources on how to combine in- and out-of-class work for hybrid and mixed-mode learning.
- Utilize TLT's Engaged Student Series, which offers ideas for how to keep students motivated during all types of learning.
- View Faculty to Faculty short videos detailing strategies other Penn State faculty have been using to adapt their classes.
- If you’ll be using more online learning or just want to equip yourself for the future of online learning, World Campus Faculty Development has courses each month addressing online teaching and learning including courses on Essentials of Online Teaching, Integrating the Library into your Online Course, Supporting Accessibility for Online Learning, Teaching the International Student, Assessment of Online Learners and Teamwork in Online Teaching and Learning
- TLT also provides consultation and “tech tutors” for faculty
